The only caveat is that I need to cash out this year due to personal reasons and don't want to take on a lot of risk. Any suggestions? Should I stick with it and not try to chase other coins?

everythings a gamble at this point, markets high, if you want to reduce risk then just swap for usdt or usdc and stake it til your ready. or hold ADA for the tinterim and see
